Timothy Mack- Youth & Young Adult Minister
Timothy A Mack born November of 1988 was born and raised in the Church of Christ. Timothy along with his brothers (The Mack Boys) first attended Central Church of Christ where Timothy was baptized at the tender age of 11. At a young age, Timothy was very enthusiast about the word of God and learning who God is. As a youth, Timothy competed in the bible bowl (which he is a 3-time champion), participating in the youth choir, and more. As life went on, Timothy learned that every decision had a consequence.
After a run in with the law, Brother Timothy took his lessons learned and his passion for kids and became a teacher. He used the wisdom he gained from his youthful years to pour into his students in and out of the classroom. Bro. Timothy often times shared biblical stories to illustrate a life lessons to the young men he coach during the football season. Many of his students and football members often attended church or an event held by the church because of Brother Timothy. Children in and out of the church grew to know and love Tim as more than just a friend, teacher, Brother in Christ; many took to his as “Uncle Tim”. Like the Comedian Martian Lawrence always said about his self, which stood true for Bro. Timothy, “Uncle Tim love the kids.”
Timothy has since gone on to work tirelessly at the Inner City Church of Christ as a youth coordinator putting together monthly bible studies best known as Straight Talks. A summertime event that pushes fear out of the door known as “No Limits” water sports, as well as the Young Adults Revival, “The Encounter”, held for the first time August of last year at Inner City Church of Christ.
Today, Timothy is a husband for almost a year to his wife, Khidr Mack, Youth mentor in Kingsmen mentoring program, a father in faith to a few and a friend to many. Brother Timothy is a true example of the saying, “God often doesn’t call the equip, but he equips those he call”.
